BRAIN ANEURYSMS
Why We Are Here

What Is A Brain Aneurysm?
A Brain Aneurysm is when a weakened Blood Vessel in the brain forms a "balloon" shape
filled with blood. If not treated soon enough, this can turn into a ruptured Brain Aneurysm-
the "balloon" pops. The blood then expands outside the the vessel and around the Brain
which can lead to the patient's sudden death within hours. There are typically no signs
of a non-ruptured aneurysm. The only way to know if you may have this "balloon" is
through a Head Scan of the Brain. But a key symptom of a ruptured aneurysm is a
sudden, severe headache. Most would describe it as "the worst headache of their life."

Why We Advocate
When a Brain Aneurysm occurs, time is critical. Often times, Aneurysms can go undetected which can lead to the sudden cause of death. Our goal is to educate the public on the signs and symptoms of Aneurysms, so together we can save the lives of those that don't even know they're at risk.
